Born: 1959 in Bangladesh. To parents Abdur Rashid, M.A. B.C.S. (Magistrate 1st
class, 1935) and Dr. Taibun Naher Rashid.
Early childhood education Pabna Zilla School, Dhanmondi Govt. Boys School
and Adamjee Cantonment School and College for secondary and higher
secondary education.

Siena Heights University, Adrian, Michigan, USA. Bachelor of Arts,1983. Attend
ed Graduate school 1984-85. Serving as Board of Trustees / Director at Siena
Heights University since 2009. Was awarded the Outstanding Alumni Award
from my Alma Mata in 2006.Was involved in student senate throughout my undergraduate years
and served as undergraduate and graduate Resident Assistant in campus housing.

Joined Wendys Restaurant of Canada as Management Trainee in November of 1985. Store Man
ager and GM in 1986-87, After that managed multi-unit Wendys, Tim Hortons, Mr. Sub, Baskin Robins
and Vending locations in Highway Division on highway 401 till December of 1995.

December of 1995 became a franchisee owner and operator of Tim Hortons. We own and operate
multiple Tim Hortons locations in Toronto.

We have been married for 32 years and have been blessed with two wonderful, healthy children.
Both of our children have completed postgraduate education and live in Toronto.
