• Ferdous Ahmed is a dedicated and visionary entrepreneur with a proven track record of success across multiple industries. He graduated from Dhaka University in 1987 and began his professional career as a consultant
at a private financial company.

• In 1989, Ferdous launched F.A. International, a dyes and chemical business, marking the beginning of his entrepreneurial journey. F.A. International also served as the Sole Distributor of Daewoo Commercial Vehicles in Bangladesh, showcasing his versatility and inno vative business approach.

• By 1994, Ferdous expanded into the garments industry with the establishment of the Purple Group, further solidifying his reputation as a business leader.

• In 2010, Ferdous Ahmed relocated to Canada, embracing new opportunities. Two years later, in 2012, he founded Eximco Inc., a garments business where he currently serves as President. Over time, Eximco Inc. evolved into a sourcing and trading company, reflecting Ferdous’s ability to adapt and thrive in dynamic markets.

• In 2016, Ferdous earned his Real Estate License, specializing in services for real estate investors, adding another dimension to his diverse portfolio. 

• Today, Eximco Inc. operates as a garments buying house and plays a pivotal role in exporting food items such as lentils, sugar, and wheat from Canada and Australia. Ferdous remains a prominent figure in the business community, holding memberships in esteemed organizations such as BGMEA, BKMEA, and DCCI. He is also an active member of the Richmond Hill Board of Trade in Canada.

• Ferdous is deeply committed to community engagement and recreational activities. He is a member of prestigious clubs, including the Army Golf Club, Banani Club, and Gulshan Youth Club, and he previously served as an Executive Committee (EC) Member of the Gulshan Youth Club.

• In 2024, Ferdous served on the Membership Committee of the Bangladesh Business Chamber of Canada (BBCC). Under his leadership, a highly successful membership drive resulted in the addition of nearly 50 new members to the organization, significantly strengthening BBCC’s network.

• Ferdous Ahmed is married to Tania Zareen Ahmad, and together they are proud parents of three children—two sons and a daughter.
