Born :  September 06th, 1961, the youngest among three brothers and two sisters. My schooling was in Dhaka English Preparatory school, which later became Udayan Biddalaya and moving on to Notre Dame College.
Although, I studied and trained as a dentist, my urge to follow my father’s footsteps to become a businessman, led me to do a subsequent Masters in Economics to enable my business endeavour. Also completed diploma
course on Office Administration & Personnel Management from IBA.

I tried my hand at different businesses and started a specialised garments buying house, Fastline Corporation Ltd & The Lancer Group three decades back. I also started my company in Canada, Imzaa Holdings Ltd, over two decades ago.

I partnered with a European company, and we established factories in Dhaka EPZ, Romania and Tunisia. We have been involved in specialised security wear only, working for the defence and administrative sectors; mainly in the EU, Australia and some other countries.

I have been a member of BBG, (British Business Group), since its inception in 2001. Also of Can Cham ( Canada Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce) , BEPZIA ( Bangladesh EPZ Investors Asso ciation) from their beginning. Our Bangladesh company is also an active member of FICCI ( Foreign Investors Chamber of Commerce & Industry). I have been associated with BBCC from the very beginning.

I am married with two sons and a daughter.
